WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team fell at Purdue, 4-3, on Friday evening in its first of two weekend matches in West Lafayette, Ind.
DOUBLES
WMU's Jackson Boone and Drew Evans picked up the early point with a 6-2 win at No. 1 over Marino Jakic and Juan David Velasquez. The doubles point came down to No. 2 and No. 3, with both matches going to the tie-breaker. Alexander Ekstrand and Aleksa Krivokapic tied it up at 1-1 after narrowly beating Matej Kazjer and Anton Arzhankin 7-6 (13-11).
