BURLINGTON, Vt. -- The Western Michigan men's soccer team opened the 2023 campaign with a 2-0 defeat to #12 University of Vermont Thursday evening.

During Thursday's contest goalkeeper recorded a career-best seven saves during the match. As a team, the Broncos were able to put up nine shots on Vermont but were unable to connect the ball into the back of the net. Graduate student forward led Western Michigan with three shots during the evening, while and Johnathan Robinson tacked on two of their own.
