Broncos Down Warriors to Improve to 7-0

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team improved to 7-0 on the season after defeating Wayne State University, 7-0, at West Hills Athletic Club on Wednesday afternoon.

It is the sixth-straight match in which the Broncos have won every point.

WMU went 3-0 in doubles play to secure the first point of the match. Kristin Tiraspolsy and Karin Hamilton were the first to finish, defeating WSU's Melanie Zampardo and Suki Mandair 6-2 at No. 2. The duo of Lindsey Ziegler and Kaitlyn Rogosh clinched the doubles point at No. 3 after beating Sabrina Laynes and Iren van Meer 6-0.
