Box Score KALAMAZOO, Mich.- After trailing 2-1, Western Michigan scored four unanswered goals en route to a 5-2 victory over the visiting Miami RedHawks Saturday. The Broncos also defeated Miami Friday night, 6-3.
The RedHawks took a 1-0 lead 4:24 into the game when Kiefer Sherwood got behind the Bronco defense and scored on the breakaway. WMU sophomore Jade McMullen found the equalizer with five minutes left in the first period, finishing a nice feed from Michael Rebry with three seconds remaining on a power play. Miami responded seconds later with Gordie Green's back door goal to retake the lead, 2-1.
