KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan women's tennis team kept its winning streak alive with a dominant 6-1 victory against Chicago State on Thursday afternoon inside the West Hills Athletic Club. The Broncos have now won three consecutive matches and dropped just one point in the process.
At No. 1 doubles, sophomore Femke Tjon-A-Joe and junior Jeryn Jack continued their hot streak, won their third consecutive match and downed Kristina Pukhaeva and Diana Borodina, 6-2. Sophomore Kristina Tiraspolsky and junior Valerie Riegraf paired for the first time this year and earned a 6-2 win on court three against Katarina Dukic and Susana Andres to finish the doubles point for WMU.
