KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team improved to 7-0 in Mid-American Conference play after taking down Ball State 4-3, at WMU's Sorensen Courts on Friday afternoon.
The match went down to the wire. The Broncos (19-1, 7-0 MAC) were leading 3-2, with matches at No. 3 and No. 5 still left to finish. At No. 3 the match went into a third set after Chris Adams took the second set 6-4 over . won his first set 7-6 (7-5) over Eli Herran at No. 5 and then battled back from a 6-5 deficit to force another tie-breaker.
