KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Thanks to a sweep of Minnesota Duluth this past weekend, Western Michigan continued to rise in the latest national polls.
The Broncos jumped up two spots to No. 7 in both the USCHO poll and USA Hockey/The Rink Live poll. WMU leaped over Colorado College and Cornell in both rankings. Western Michigan has been ranked nationally since Oct. 11, 2021.
Joining the Brown and Gold in the national polls were Denver, Colorado College, St. Cloud State, North Dakota and Arizona State. The Broncos are undefeated in conference play through six games, sitting with a 5-0-1 record.
