BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Western Michigan women's team finished up play at the Hoosier Classic on Sunday afternoon going 3-2 overall in singles play, the team's first tournament this season.

"I thought we got better each day of the tournament," commented WMU head coach Ryan Tomlinson. "We started a little slow for our first tournament of the fall but I thought Barbare and Denise played good tennis competing in higher flights than they've ever been."
In the final day in Bloomington, the Broncos got three wins in three separate singles flights.
