TOLEDO, Ohio –The Western Michigan women's basketball team earned their fourth-straight conference victory on the road on Saturday, defeating Toledo 70-58 for a season sweep of the Rockets.
The four-game win streak is a first for the Brown & Gold in conference play since January of 2015. Now sitting at 15-10 overall and 8-6 in the MAC, Western Michigan shot 40.4 percent from the field, converting 23-of-57 field goals. WMU went 8-for-20 from long range, with a trio of Broncos sinking at least two three-pointers. Western Michigan earned 15 points off Toledo turnovers and out-rebounded the Rockets 38 to 32.
