KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's basketball team took care of business in an exhibition matchup this afternoon (Oct. 31) against the visiting Goshen Maple Leafs, winning by a 77-53 margin inside University Arena.
The Broncos hounded the Maple Leafs defensively all afternoon, forcing a total of 30 turnovers while committing nine as a team. WMU capitalized on those forced turnovers, scoring 29 of their 77 as a result of Goshen miscues. The Broncos also finished with 17 steals in the contest as a team.
Sophomore forward Taylor Williams led the way for the Broncos, putting up 22 points, 13 rebounds, and five steals in 21 minutes of play.
