The Broncos entered the game coming off a tough loss on the road to the University of Akron Zips, falling 59-66. However, back at home, the team found their “swag”, as Coach Steve Hawkins put it in a post game press interview, after the Broncos cruised to a 90-74 win over the Rockets.
“We’ve been gaining momentum, with the way we’ve been playing. And coming into tonight, and playing real well, I thought we got a little giddy-up with us here tonight, and the guys played with a little swag, and that was good to see. Their confidence was rewarded,” Hawkins said.
