Broncos Battle Huskies to 0-0 Tie

KALAMAZOO, Mich – The Western Michigan men's soccer team battled the Huskies of Northern Illinois to a 0-0 tie in Mid-American Conference play on the road on Sunday afternoon.

WMU outshot NIU 17-3 overall, with a 7-0 advantage in shots on goal. WMU's scoreless draw adds a point to their season, making them 9-1-1, 3-0-1 MAC. Sitting atop the MAC, Western Michigan leads in goals, outscoring their opponents 28-4. With an average of 15.3 shots per game, the Broncos are outshooting their opponents 153-71. Charlie Sharp led today's match in shots with five, followed by Dylan Sing with three, Daniel Nimick and Eric Conerty each with two.
