KENNESAW, Ga.- Western Michigan totaled 10 hits and scored in each of the first three innings en route to an 8-3 victory over UT-Martin at the Kennesaw State Tournament Saturday morning. The Broncos face Alabama A&M later in the day at 3 p.m.
Junior left fielder Ivy Schaaf and freshman first baseman Brooke Wyman each had three hits and an RBI in the game. Wyman drove in a run with her first career double in the first inning.
The Broncos led 5-1 after three innings of play. Junior Erin Binkowski also doubled in the first and senior Sabrina Gamboa hit her first home run of the season in the third, a solo blast to center field.
