Bronco Softball Falls at No. 2 Michigan

ANN ARBOR, Mich.- Western Michigan put up a good fight, but was outmatched by the No. 2 ranked team in the nation, falling at Michigan Tuesday, 8-0.

Michigan used leadoff walks in the first and second innings to open a 2-0 lead and went on to score a pair of runs in the third, fourth and sixth innings. It was the 11-straight victory for U-M, which improved to 22-2 on the year.

The Broncos faced 2015 Big Ten Pitcher of the Year and Second Team All-American Megan Betsa. Betsa (9-1) struck out a season-high 14 batters and allowed just one hit.
