KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The Western Michigan softball team fell in both games of a doubleheader Saturday to Toledo, 7-4 and 2-1.
The Rockets (13-31, 6-11 MAC) took all three games of this weekend's Mid-American Conference series, extending their winning streak to five games.
The Broncos' record slipped to 18-23 overall and 9-7 in the MAC. Western Michigan will look to get back on track next weekend, traveling the Ball State for a three-game series against the Cardinals.
Western Michigan erased an early Toledo lead in game one, rallying for four runs in the fourth to tie the score at 4-4.
