Bronco Singles Dominate on Final Day of Vredevelt Invitational

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – In the first tournament of the season, the Western Michigan men's tennis team dominated the final day of the 2016 WMU/Vredevelt Invitational, with the singles finishing with an impressive 9-1 record.

"In our first tournament this season, we were able to evaluate our younger guys and the coaching staff really liked what they saw," head coach Dave Morin said. "In singles, we had an exceptional tournament going 9-1, but we still need to improve on our doubles. We were hot and cold, but we will get to work in practice trying to get the players more familiar and comfortable with their partners.
