KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan's offense was unstoppable in an 8-3 victory over Miami on Friday night at Lawson Arena. The win improved WMU's record to 16-4-1 overall and 9-1-1 in NCHC play.
Owen Michaels tallied two goals, while Iiro Hakkarainen, Liam Valente, Wyatt Schingoethe, Alex Bump, Samuel Sjolund and Zach Nehring each had one. Cameron Rowe made 18 saves in net to earn his 12th win of the season.
