The game stayed close for much of the first half. At one point, the Broncos held an eight point lead with Bobcat point guard Jaaron Simmons on the bench because of foul trouble. Simmons was able to get off the bench, and scored a game high 24 points. He also found his teammates for nine assists, ultimately leading to a Bobcats win 82-64.
Ohio is second in the Mid-American Conference in scoring offense and it was easy to see why, as the Bobcats shot 11-of-20 from beyond the arc and 50.9 percent from the floor overall.
Sophomore point guard Thomas Wilder continues to be the go to man for the Broncos, averaging 21 points per game in conference play.
