KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey team is receiving votes in both the US College Hockey Online and USA Today/USA Hockey Polls released on Monday afternoon.
WMU received 69 points in the USCHO.com poll, earning unofficial ranking of 22. AIC received 18 more votes than the Broncos and Clarkson, the official No. 20 team in the nation received 139. The USCHO.com Poll consists of 50 voters, including coaches and beat writers and sports professionals from across the country.
The Broncos received nine votes in the USA Today/USA College Hockey Magazine poll, placing them unofficially 21st.
