Throughout a season there are rivalry games, special games like senior day and marquee red-letter games, that fans and players look forward to.
One of these games is homecoming. This week here at WMU will culminate with the Broncos hosting the Northern Illinois University Huskies on Saturday.
After the Battle of the Cannon this past weekend against archrivals Central Michigan University, WMU, who is 3-1 in their last four homecoming games, looks to continue the positive trend against NIU.
The Huskies, a traditional Mid-American Conference power over the last few years, have not had the same success this year that they have had recently.
