There was a great crowd turnout with a large number of those being students. The crowd ignited a few of the Broncos runs early in the game. Junior forward Tucker Haymond came out firing in the first half, leading the Broncos in every category for the first half, giving WMU a slim 43-38 lead heading into the locker room.
The second half continued to be much of the same with a tight game throughout. BGSU hit a huge three pointer with under four minutes to go to knot the game up at 68 apiece. Coming down to the wire tied with the score tied 74-74, the Falcons were able to sink in another three to take a 77-74 lead with 50 seconds left in the game.
