Just hours after WMU redshirt junior forward Brandon Johnson entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal, junior guard Michael Flowers has also put his name into the portal, according to a report from Jeff Goodman from Stadium.
Flowers has been a focal point in WMU's offense the past two seasons, averaging a career-high 16.9 points per game this past season and 15.7 in 2018-19.
In three seasons as a Bronco, Flowers averaged 13 points per game to go along with 2.5 assists per game.
Flowers and Johnson entering their names into the portal comes on the same day the men's basketball program introduced Clayton Bates as its new head coach, who has been a longtime assistant for the program after it was announced Steve Hawkins would not return for an 18th season.
