Former General Manager Dave Dombrowski turned the Tigers around in 2006 and continued to keep them at the top of the league for almost 10 seasons. Yet, for the last three seasons when the team needed bullpen help, he didn’t jump to get it. This past season Dombrowski was let go and Al Avila was moved up in the organization to replace him. The big difference between the two general managers is Avila spent this offseason fixing the Tigers bullpen issues. The help the Tigers need came in the form of Francisco Rodriguez.
Rodriguez had an interesting season in 2015.
