During the Broncos season opening road trip, Brandt went onto record the first shutout of his career against Air Force on August 31, after facing 8 shots (4 on target). He would follow up his shutout performance with yet another clean sheet, his second of his career, against Butler on Sunday to lead WMU to a 0-0 draw.
