Western Michigan senior forward Anthony Bowie has earned a share of the Mid-American Conference men's soccer Player of the Week award, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday. Bowling Green junior defender Achille Robin was the other Player of the Week honoree.
Bowie was outstanding last week for the Broncos, collecting three goals and two assists in three matches played for Western Michigan. His eight points on the season currently places him atop the scoring race in the MAC.
Last week against Niagara, Bowie generated five shots on goal, putting two of those opportunities into the back of the net to help the Broncos earn a 4-0 victory.
