CLEVELAND – After guiding the Western Michigan volleyball team to three straight sweeps to end the regular season senior outside hitter Rachel Bontrager and freshman setter Logan Case earned Mid-American Conference West Division weekly honors, the league office announced on Monday.
For the fourth straight week Bontrager and Case took home conference weekly honors. For the sixth time this season Bontrager was named MAC West Offensive Player of the Week while Case was named MAC West Setter of the Week.
In three matches against Northern Illinois and Kent State, Bontrager posted 44 kills, averaging 4.
