CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Game one for Western Michigan baseball at Southeast Missouri State has been suspended due to darkness in the bottom of the eighth inning with the Broncos trailing 5-1. The game will resume at 11:00am on Sunday, Feb. 17.
The game was suspended in the bottom of the eighth inning with SEMO batting with one out and the bases loaded. After the conclusion of game one, the Broncos and RedHawks will play a doubleheader to conclude the weekend series.
Southeast Missouri State got on the board first in the bottom of the sixth inning after a sacrifice fly scored the RedHawk runner from third with the bases loaded.
