The Western Michigan Baseball team was set to take on the Toledo Rockets in a double header on Sunday afternoon, but Mother Nature had other ideas for the two Mid-American Conference opponents. Due to snow and ice in the Toledo area, the games have been canceled.
The Broncos defeated the Rockets on Friday by a score of 6-3 before Saturday's game was postponed to Sunday due to heavy rain. Sean O'Keefe led the Broncos with 4 RBI's against Toledo on Friday including his second homerun of the season.
The Broncos will be back in action on Tuesday, April 2nd, heading to Comerica Park to take on in-state rival and Big Ten foe, Michigan State.
