KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan baseball team hosts Valparaiso Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. at Hyames Field for some midweek nonconference baseball action.
The Broncos come into the game against the Crusaders at 8-20 overall, 1-5 in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) and 2-0 at home while Valpo, members of the Horizon League, enter at 10-15 and 5-3 in league play. The Crusaders are coming off a weekend where both games against Eastern Michigan were cancelled due to weather. The team hasn’t played a game since April 5 when they beat Illinois State 8-6.
