Baseball Outhits FAMU, but Still Drops the Second Game of the Series

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The Western Michigan baseball team outhit the defending Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Champion Florida A&M, but the Rattlers still beat the Broncos 9-0 at Moore-Kittles Field.

WMU falls to 0-8 this season in a game where they produced their highest hit total this season while FAMU improves to 6-5 and has now won three straight games.

The Broncos had chances to score, finishing with 11 hits and three walks and put at least one runner on in every inning besides the ninth. In the top of the second inning, Hunter Prince led the inning off with a double down the right field line and freshman Jesse Forestell singled to right center to put runners on the corners with no outs.
