KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Despite falling in the series finale to Bowling Green 20-6 on Sunday afternoon the Western Michigan baseball team split its weekend series with the Falcons inside Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field.
In the series finale on Sunday the Broncos produced six runs on seven hits with five players earning a hit for the Brown & Gold. The WMU offense was led by sophomore Gavin Doyle who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one run scored. The multi-hit game was the third of the season for Doyle.
