PITTSBURGH, Pa. – In its final midweek action of the regular season the Western Michigan baseball team fell to Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Pitt, 14-3 on Tuesday night inside Charles L. Cost Field.
The Broncos nearly outhit the Panthers on Tuesday, recording seven hits to Pitt's 10. Five different Broncos registered a hit with two earning multi-hit games. WMU also had three different players collect an RBI.
Senior Nate Grys collected his 11th multi-hit game of the season and second home run of the season after going 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored.
