Baseball Drops Game Two Against CMU, Setting up Rubber Match for Saturday

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Western Michigan baseball dropped game two of its final Mid-American Conference (MAC) regular season series against Central Michigan by a score of 7-1 Friday afternoon at Theunissen Stadium.

The Broncos fall to 18-30 this season and move to 11-12 in the MAC while the Chippewas move to 20-35 overall and 11-12 in the MAC, setting a crucial game three for MAC Tournament seeding purposes.

CMU scored four unanswered runs before the Broncos could get on the board, with two in the second and one run in each the third and fifth inning to go up 4-0.
