KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan baseball fell 18-3 Sunday afternoon to Ball State at Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field, as the Cardinals bats stayed red hot all series long. The Broncos, who took down Michigan State in their last midweek game, will look to bounce back with another midweek game at Northwestern on Tuesday, April 11 at 4:30 p.m.

Ball State's offense banged out 19 hits and drew 12 walks against the Bronco pitching staff. The Cardinals jumped out to a big lead in the first inning and WMU could never recover.
