TOLEDO, Ohio – The Western Michigan baseball team fell 11-3 at the hands of Toledo Sunday afternoon on the road. WMU pounded out 14 hits and had at least one hit in every inning except the fourth.
The Broncos fall to 13-26 overall and 6-9 in the MAC and have now won their past two MAC series. The Rockets, who avoided the sweep today, improve to 10-34 overall and 5-10 in the MAC.
WMU started out quick with a run in the top of the first inning, but were then held scoreless from the second inning through the seventh inning.
