KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan baseball team got a pair of stellar pitching performances out of the sophomore duo of Easton Sikorski and Dane Armbrustmacher en route to a doubleheader sweep of Ohio on Saturday inside Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field.
The Bronco pitching staff stifled the Bobcat offense on Saturday, holding Ohio to just five runs on 13 hits. Ohio batters hit just .245 on the day and recorded 14 strikeouts. In game one Sikorski went five innings, allowing two earned runs on seven hits with five strikeouts while Armbrustmacher in game two threw 5.
