HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Western Michigan baseball team registered a historic doubleheader sweep of Alabama A&M on Saturday with a 12-0 shutout victory in game one followed by record-setting 32-4 win in game two.
In the second game of the doubleheader against the Bulldogs the Broncos posted a school record 32 runs on 17 hits in a 32-4 victory. The 32 runs scored is the most in a single-game in the NCAA this season and the fourth most in the NCAA over the past two seasons.
WMU also drew a school record 18 walks in game two with junior Blake Dunn being walked five times.
