KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan baseball team's home game against Valparaiso scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field has been canceled due to field conditions and impending weather. The contest will not be made up.
The Broncos and Beacons are still scheduled to meet in Valparaiso, Ind., next Tuesday, May 9.
Western Michigan now turns its attention to the weekend, as it will put its six-game winning streak on the line with a three-game series at #23 Kent State. First pitch of Friday's series opener between the Broncos and Golden Flashes is set for 6 pm.
