KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Over the next few months, 21 Western Michigan baseball student-athletes will participate in seven different collegiate wood bat leagues across four states.
The Broncos are represented in eight different leagues with eight different teams. WMU will have seven players in the Great Lakes League and Prospect League, four in the M.I.N.K. College Baseball League and three in the Alaska Summer Collegiate Baseball League.
Western Michigan will have one player represented in the Northwoods League with the hometown Kalamazoo Growlers along with one player in the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League and Michigan College Baseball League.
