In this past weekend’s series split with North Dakota, goaltender Trevor Gorsuch was pulled in his second consecutive game on Friday night in a 5-1 loss.
The senior allowed four goals on 12 shots, forcing head coach Andy Murray to yank his goaltender shortly into the second period.
This came after Gorsuch’s most recent game before Friday on Feb. 2 when he was pulled after letting in five goals on 26 shots.
Despite a couple of rough outings, Murray unequivocally decided to go right back to his trusted goaltender on Saturday night.
