CLEVELAND – The Western Michigan women's soccer team had two student-athletes earn All-Mid-American Conference Honors with sophomore midfielder Alyssa Burke named First Team All-MAC and senior midfielder Liz Abron named Second Team All-MAC.
Burke finished the conference season tied for fourth of the league in total points with 12 on four goals and four assists. Her four assists tied her for second in the MAC. The Davison, Mich., native was named MAC Offensive Player of the Week after scoring three goals in a road sweep at Bowling Green and Toledo. She also had a goal and an assist in a win over Eastern Michigan, and assists in wins over Ohio and Buffalo.
