YPSILANTI, Mich. – Western Michigan's Alissa Fish won the 2021 Shirley Spork Invitational hosted by Eastern Michigan at the Eagle Crest Golf Club after shooting a program record 54-hole low of 210.
Fish shot a final round of 70 to finish -6 and finish a commanding 11 strokes ahead of Bowling Green's Kayla Davis. The junior led the tournament from start to finish, becoming the first Bronco to be an individual medalist since Claire Hernandez won the Rio Verde Invitational back in 2019. She's also now the second WMU golfer to win the Shirley Spork Invitational, joining alum Julia Champion, who was the individual medalist in 2017.
