The Western Michigan hockey team moved up four spots since last week’s USCHO.com rankings, they now sit at No. 10. After sweeping Miami University over the weekend, the Broncos are the hottest team in college hockey as they have not lost since Nov. 10. This 9-0-1 unbeaten run they are on is truly something special and the effects of it are being felt throughout the community.
“I think there is a buzz in the whole community of Kalamazoo right now,” head coach Andy Murray said in a press conference. “The type of hockey that this team is playing, being one of the higher-ranked teams in the country, and playing in the best league in college hockey and being right near the top of that league.
