KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan baseball's Tanner Allison added another award to his resume Wednesday afternoon after being selected in the MLB Draft, as the junior was named an American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings First Team All-Mideast Region selection.

Allison, who was just drafted in the 19th round by the Atlanta Braves, was named an All-American by both Collegiate Baseball (Third Team) and College Sports Madness (Fourth Team). He set the Western Michigan single season RBI record with 68, passing Frank Alferi's previous high of 63 set in 1999.
