MOUNT PLEASANT, MI -- The Western Michigan Broncos improved to 4-0 in the Mid-American Conference with a big road victory Saturday over rival Central Michigan.
The Broncos beat the Chippewas, 35-10, in a game that was delayed early after a lightning strike.
Western Michigan is now 6-2 on the season and has won six in a row after season-opening losses against Syracuse and Michigan. Central Michigan is 3-4 and 1-2 in the MAC.
The Broncos host Toledo at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, at Waldo Stadium.
Central Michigan travels to Akron for a noon kickoff on Saturday, Oct.
