WALNUT, Calif. -- The Western Michigan track and field team wrapped up the Mt. SAC Relays late Saturday evening with the 4x400-meter relay team running the Mid-American Conference's fastest time to highlight the weekend.
Sarita Dotson, Ayiana Gaines, Keyera Lige and Naoimi Dulaney combined to run a time of 3:42.31 seconds, over two seconds faster than Kent State's previous MAC-best of 3:44.46. Dotson's return was key to the lineup, the junior had been out in recent weeks with an injury.
"It was good to get Sarita back and going," said head coach Kelly Lycan.
