KALAMAZOO, MI -- The Western Michigan Broncos won their first game of the season Saturday backed by a large crowd at Waldo Stadium for the annual CommUniverCity Night.
From game action to an annual Band Day halftime performance from the Bronco Marching Band alongside high school students, MLive/Kalamazoo Gazette photographers captured the CommUniverCity Night excitement.
The Broncos took the buzz out of the Delaware State Hornets with a 68-0 win in front of an announced crowd of 23,244.
Western Michigan (1-2) visits Georgia State (1-1) next Saturday. The Broncos' next game at Waldo Stadium is Oct.
