WMU football travels to Ball State on Saturday to finish the regular season with a chance to punch a ticket to Ford Field for the MAC championship game with a win.
After a disappointing loss to Eastern Michigan last week, this game gives the Broncos and head coach Tim Lester a chance to prove this year can be different and that Lester can get the Broncos to a MAC title. Each of the last two years, Western Michigan has been in the driver’s seat but faltered late in the year to miss the title game, and after Lester called this year’s team the most talented team he’s had, it is time for him and the team to take the next step towards winning the conference.
