Official practices for the Western Michigan Women’s basketball team began this week.
As the team is preparing for the season, let’s take a look at three things to keep an eye on in the preseason.
Youth
This team is very young with zero returning starters, and the only significant production coming back is from bench minutes by senior Reilly Jacobson who averaged six points and 3.5 rebounds per game.
Junior guard Maddie Watters, who averaged 2.7 points per game off the WMU bench last season, provides some experience for the Broncos and should see an increased role this season.
