Western Michigan dominated in its first Mid-American Conference game, picking up a 58-13 win against the Akron Zips. A lot of positives came out of the game for the Broncos, and although the opponent was not the cream of the crop in the MAC there were still many questions the Broncos answered. Here are the three takeaways from the performance.
Offensive line is legit- This offensive line was real this week with 218 yards rushing and four touchdowns on the night. Also showing just how dominant the running game was, three running backs on the day averaged at least six yards per attempt.
